Identified needs
After delivery of luminaries for Pozoriste mladih in Novi Sad, this institution needed lighting console which functionality and quality can fit in the rest of the lighting equipment.
Implemented solution
This important role has been given to ETC Element, lighting console designed specially for theater spaces, where it is mainly used for conventional lighting with smaller number of moving-heads. Besides, it offers all the mighty characteristics of EOS system. It possesses 1024 inputs (2 DMX 5-pin XLR connectors) and 5 USB connectors for connecting pheriperal equipment. Supported protocols are RDM, ETCnet2TM, Net3TM, ACN, ArtNet, Avab UDP.
In addition to commands via the keys, there are 60 faders for easy acces to intensity control which can be used for showing the recorded Cues and submasters which are always at your fingertips (specifically - in the third row of faders). Each show can be displayed on two external monitors, which is really important for the console operator, because it provide him with enough information about the scene.
One of the many advantages of ETC lighting consoles philosophy is ability to execute any command in maximum three strokes, which significantly speeds up the operation of the console. Remote control via tablet or phone on Android aRFR or IOS iRFR is indispensable when it comes to working with the director and adjusting the light effects on the stage. It is possible to select channels of conventional lighting, patching channels of conventional lighting, setting the parameters of intelligent lights intensity, color, pan/tilt, zoom, etc via the remote control. It is also possible to review Cue lists and to manage them through Go, Stop/Back and Go to Cue commands, including changing an individual Cues.
Identical solution has been implemented in Ustanova kulture Palilula, where we had delivered Element 40 lighting console.
Support
After the installation of lighting console, AVL team held a training for theater's technical staff, so they could get familiar with the work on the console. They enjoyed the option of remote control via the tablet with ETC aRFR software, which can be downloaded via PlayStore service.
